Today we drove for two hours straight at 8:00 in the morning to go to this wonderful beach with a fantastic board walk. I saw one of my friends there. That was very weird.
At the board walk they had food, rides, face paintings, tattoos, hair braidings, prizes you can win from booths, and so much more. We stayed at the beach for a long time.I wish the day would never end. I was the one who got the really cute hair braid. But what I didn't like was the waves were huge and they tackled on top of me. And I would get salt in my eyes, nose, and mouth. You don't want to do that because it tastes gross.
After we were done with the beach Colleen went to ask where we could go get changed, because you're not allowed to change in the bathroom or you would get a $250 fine. So the person my sister asked said the closest place you can change is 8 blocks away so my mom said let's just go change in the car. So we did it took us 15 minutes, but it was better then walking 8 blocks with a huge bag and two chairs, and then back to the car to put the stuff away.
After we were done getting dressed in our clothes we walked around the board walk and had some lunch. The place we ate at was very nice and the fans were blowing so we could cool off. I asked my mom if I could go get some dippendots she said ok. So we went to the dippendots stand and noticed they had cotten candy there to so I couldn't decide. My mom said how about we get dippendots and cotten candy so me and my sister split both.
We walked around some more on the board walk. Colleen saw a stand where they give henna tattoos so she asked mom if she could get one and my mom wanted one too so she said yes. My sister got a star on her shoulder and my mom got a sign that means happiness on her wrist. Then we stopped at another stand and got two belly button rings. Then I wanted to go get something. So I got this very nice pink, light pink, and white braid with beads at the bottom. And while I was getting my hair braded Colleen was getting another henna tattoo. It was a moon with stars. The star on Colleen's shoulder started to hurt so we got it checked. And then my mom said we should start heading home. So we drove home and ate white castle. And that was the end to our great day.
